I count myself privileged to be one of numerous students Prof. Olatunji taught haematology. Even though we had no form of relationship outside the classroom back then, his impact on me and my colleagues cannot be overemphasized. Prof. dealt with each of us equally and never took his lectures for granted. Beyond being a lecturer, Baba is truly a teacher who taught us with patience and grace. He is jovial and we hardly felt tense around him except of course, when the exams were close by.
As a great personality in our college, Prof. infused into us diligence, humility, punctuality & efficiency. He is a devout Christian. His fatherly attitude to the Christian Medical & Dental Association (CMDA-students) at O.O.U.T.H has been beyond remarkable. Baba is ever willing to share his wealth of experience for our learning on life in general and he does this every opportunity he gets, whatever the cost, despite his busy schedules.
He has consistently maintained relevance in his field and in life and this challenges me personally. I'm very sure this landmark in Prof. Olatunji’s life is a big step to another purpose-filled phase because truly Baba isn't tired yet.
I congratulate you sir, and I pray you keep waxing stronger in grace and strength. You shall live long to enjoy the great fruits of your labour in Jesus name. Amen. Omotayo Adedire 400L medical student Regular attendee of “The Wisdom Dialogue”
