I have to appreciate my nephews and niece for the honour bestowed on me to say a few words to celebrate their father, my very own brother, Prof. PHILLIP OLUSOLA OLATUNJI. He is my immediate younger brother of the same parents, a complete gentleman but disciplined, focused and a disciplinarian.

We were born into what is always referred to as orthodox church but he was the first to give his life to Christ among us, and the rest of us followed in turns. We are celebrating him today at 70 not because he is a Professor, but we are celebrating the CHRIST that has always been with him (like Joseph) and will continue to be with him even as he retires from active employment.

A relentless person that I know him to be, he still has several kilometres to cover spiritually and physically. He has always been a help in the time of need, not only to us his siblings or immediate family, but to as many as have crossed his path. I have this assurance that his retirement years will be more purposeful, peaceful and progressive in Jesus’ name. I also want to appreciate my sister, Dr. (Mrs.) Ayodeji Olatunji for being the "woman behind thesuccessful man"; that we are celebrating today. May you live to see better days in Jesus’ name.

The road was rough, the going tough, but here we are today celebrating God's faithfulness in their lives. Oluwagbeminiyi Mogaji. Elder sister
