With great joy and a heart full of gratitude to God, I celebrate my immediate senior brother,

PROFESSOR PHILLIP OLUSOLA OLATUNJI.

I personally consider having been born into the same family with you to be a great and uncommon privilege. Your caring attitude and all-round support leave no doubt in my mind that you have been, you are, and will continue to be a rare gift of inestimable value to the Olatunji family as a whole,

and to me, my daughter and my grandchildren in particular.

Your uncompromising Christian standard, your pattern of leadership and desirable Christian life, have taught me a lot of life lessons and made me to be at peace with all; no matter who they have been or what they do to me. Your brotherly love, the care and concern from you and your wife have given me joy in sorrow, strength in weakness and made life exciting and meaningful to me. Your academic excellence has given those of us who are younger in the Olatunji family a standard to aspire to.

It is also Worthy of note, that you have been a source of comfort to all around you no matter what you are going through personally. Since life is a journey, by my own standards, I say “so far, so excellent!” and for the rest of the journey, I’ll say “Bon voyage!”

May you enter a season of divine favour, grace and mercy like never before; enough to live on for the rest of your life. I make bold to ask for more decades for you in divine health and all-round prosperity. I enjoin you to praise God on a daily basis and claim his promises in Psalm 4, Psalm 92 and Isaiah 65 verses 18-25.

Finally, I say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! And I thank God for keeping you standing. Though the road might have been rough and tough, you have lived a life worth emulating and celebrating. May you be fit for rapture and may all you do from now on add stars to your crown at the end of it all.

I CELEBRATE YOU SIR.

Comfort Funmilayo Fasipe.

Younger sister.
